Be Joyful Tis Season

Updated: Jan 3, 2021

As Christmas day draws nearer, let us be mindful not to turn the coming days into times of desperation. It is easy to look around you and fall into the pit of despair, worry, and anxiety over things you would have loved to have or do that are not yet in place. Let's rather be grateful and thankful for the gift of each other. We may not have everything we wanted, but we have each other. That is far more important than anything.

Let the Love of God fill your hearts.

Let us remember that if it weren't for LOVE, God would never have given us His only son. God so loved us that He gave us Christ. Let the LOVE of God fill your hearts. Allow God to use you as a vessel and a channel of expression of His love to others, starting with your husband, your wife, your children, your parents, your siblings. Let LOVE fill the air all around you.

Tip:

This is not a time to argue with your loved ones or fight with anyone because of something you could not have or could not do. Don't let the enemy steal the joy of this beautiful season from you and deprive you of enjoying and cherishing this precious holiday over mundane things. Remember, if you throw away the opportunity to have a fantastic time this Christmas with your loved ones, you will never get it back because time is irredeemable.

Make this Christmas Count

Make this Christmas count. Make it the best you ever had with what God has given you. Psalm 118:15 says, "Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! Psalms 118:15 NIV

Give Thanks

Truly, the Lord's right hand has done valiantly for us. HE HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR US in this perilous year. Let us not fail to give Him thanks and show our utmost gratitude by doing everything within our power and will, not to give the devil a foothold in our lives, homes, and families. Let shouts of joy and victory ring aloud from every fiber in us for indeed we are still in the land of the living among other things the Lord has graciously done for us. Let us with joy draw more and more from the wells of salvation, exalting He Whos seats on the throne exalted above all forevermore.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.

Psalms 118:13‭-‬14 NIV.

Stay Uplifted in Christ.
